Hello, everyone!
One of the many goals that the ITO have this year is to get our Junior Thespians more involved in our society! We want to make their progress known, encourage them to increase involvement, and hopefully get more active Junior troupes!
One of the ways we plan to do this is through something new right here on Community. Since Community will soon launch to active members, we are going to use this awesome outlet to promote Junior Thespians! But how?
Starting in 2014, we are going to begin recognizing Junior troupes from across the U.S.! We want to recognize the achievements of Junior Thespians and their troupes through creating a monthly blog-post centered around who they are, what they've done, and what they're doing! This will be an awesome way to gain inspiration to develop new troupes, or even get ideas for Junior troupes that you may be running or trying to develop. We hope that through having a Junior Troupe of the Month, it'll create a drive through our younger Thespians to achieve great things, and encourage our high school Thespians or troupe directors to become more involved with our Junior Thespians! We all belong to the International Thespian Society, and we're all a family... so let's use Community to our advantage and connect with each other!
Each month, we will be taking nominations via email for troupes who have done outstanding work! Let us know all about the Junior troupe, what all you've done this year, etc. Have fun with it and personalize it! Show us what makes your troupe stand out from others. :)
We will select one Junior troupe every month starting in 2014, and we will showcase their accomplishments to everyone on Community!

*NOMINATIONS FOR JANUARY MUST BE EMAILED BY JANUARY 21ST, 2014.
We will continuously be reading nominations and selecting troupes to be featured each month.
If you have a Junior troupe, consider nominating it! We want to hear what's happening around the nation with our future Thespians! :)
