Community Tips: Your Contributions

By Ginny Butsch posted 12-03-2019 10:48

This is one part of a series of blogs about maximizing your experience with our online Community, not only to help newbies get their bearings but to also help experienced users learn more and take the next steps, or assist others.

In this blog, we'll talk about locating and reviewing your own contributions within the Community. Let's say that you've been participating in the Community for several months, and you want to take a look back at a question you posted early on and review the responses again. Or maybe you're curious and just want to know how many times you've posted in the Community.  Both are easy to find through your Community profile.

Log in and click on the link to your profile page in the upper right-hand corner of the site.

Click on the "My Contributions" tab and drop down to "List of Contributions." This will bring up a list of every question you have asked and every response you have provided. If you have written blogs or shared a file, they will also be part of this list.

If you'd like to quickly glance at your activity, you can click on the "My Contributions" tab and drop down to "Summary." A nifty little chart will appear and tell you exactly what your participation looks like.

Even better, if you click on one of those categories, it will bring up a detailed list of what those interactions have been.

*A little note for those extra observant folks out there: You may have noticed that under "My Contributions" there is also an "Achievements" option. This is a feature that we currently do not use, so nothing will show up when you click on it and you won't see an option to add new items there.
