Tennessee: May The Conference Be Ever In Your Favor!

This weekend I had the HONOR of being a part of Tennessee's Thespian Conference! With the very teen involved theme of Hunger Games, all the costumes and Katniss/Peeta jokes, it was an amazing success!

When I arrived to the site, Middle Tennessee State University, I met up with the Chapter Director, Mark Salty and the fabulous Ben!
Once, I was finished saying my hellos, I jumped into my first leadership workshop! I had five eager Thespians! With such a close-knit group we could really talk about how support and being yourself as a leader helped us all along in our troupes and in our daily lives! Though I was the instructor, I couldn't help but think with every story and every comment that I was the one being taught!

After that, we all headed to the theater to watched the first MainStage Show, Noises Off, which was the FUNNIEST thing I'd ever seen! Selsdon was especially hilarious. Every single time he opened his mouth, I couldn't help but chuckle! Kudos!

Day 2: Started with the Executive Board students listening to the skits and speeches from the candidates for next year. I must say it was the most entertained I'd been that entire day! Congrats to the new board!

With a little free time I decided to take a Broadway Choreography workshop! I learned a crazy intense number from Cats and had a great time!

After that, I had my #NAPS workshop and it was a HUGE success!!! Same amount of students from leadership, but when everyone is so involved and willing to share their stories and participate it really does prove to be extremely effective.

Before the next Mainstage show, Beauty and the Beast, the students had karaoke. IT WAS GREAT. It was so supportive! All the students danced and sang the evening away. Possibly one of the best evenings of my life.

Tennessee, thank you for having me and giving me an experience I will never forget!

Louisiana, you're next!
