Legendary Lesson Plan Contest

Do you have a lesson plan that has become your go to piece of curriculum? You know the one- that lesson plan that worked so well, got such great response from the students and really gave you a clear picture of what they have learned?  The lesson plan that has become a legend among your students.  If you do, consider sharing the love by making your lesson plan a part of the growing library of plans that will help our members stretch and grow.

Join us in celebrating Theatre in Our Schools month by submitting your favorite lesson to the Legendary Lesson Plan contest.   All lessons will be adjudicated by members like yourselves, with a $25.00 prize for any lesson plan chosen. Plans must be standards based and connect to the 2014 National Theatre Standards, and include assessment measures.  If chosen, your lesson plan will become part of a curated set of resources designed to support the field.

Click here to submit lesson plans to the contest to be eligible for a $25 prize and a chance to win a free registration for EdTA's National Conference in New York City in September, or copy and paste this url into your browser:  https://goo.gl/forms/xF94OcayB58nFg232

Over the coming months, there will be lots of other opportunities for members to contribute.  We want to recognize your voices, your skill and your expertise. As the new Education Manager, I am so excited to be a part of helping to carry out our mission of supporting educators by providing professional development, resources and recognition.  Tops on my list is getting to know as many of our members as I can, and helping members connect and help each other, so please consider this an invitation to reach out and chat. Contact me anytime at cwilkerson@schooltheatre.org to let me know your needs and what theatre education life is like in your corner of the world.
