I grew up here in Minneapolis, but I don't think I knew what a city of culture it was until I moved away. I now live in a small South Dakota town (which is a nice, safe place to raise kids and all), but I tell you...coming back to the big city this weekend has reconfirmed to me what a cool place this is.
It has all the skyscrapers and lights and city lofts and downtown restaurants with vibe...but also a relaxed feel of a Midwest town...perched lazily on the banks of the Mississippi River.
What a great place for a theatre conference!
