Thank you to all for your amazing feedback! My apologies for not including more thorough information in my initial post. We are an all girls high school, grades 9-12. Our girls do not mind playing male roles, but I also try to choose things that can be more flexible with casting and/or are more powerful ...

Any advice, words of wisdom, etc. would be most appreciated and helpful. Leaning towards A Midsummer. Any great adaptations you know of? Recommendations? ...

THANK YOU SO MUCH, EVERYONE!!! This is all super helpful. I am at an all girls high school and have some really talented girls this year, so I think it would be a nice fit. Another question...Is the possibility there at all to add any ensemble of any type? Or is it just strictly a six woman show? ...

Thinking about doing Kate Hamill's version of this show in the fall. Anyone have thoughts/ideas/advice on whether or not accents are needed? I want to be authentic to the piece, but am a tad worried about how distracting it could be for actors that do not have the strength in doing accents. -- ...
