Hey! I have SO many to suggest... DM me if you want to talk more. My all time FAVORITE scene for this- perfect length- so emotionally charged but reserved... Scene 3 of Betrayal" by Harold Pinter... when Emma and Jerry meet at the flat to end the affair. OH! With the exception of one "f" word (which ...

Hey everyone! I'm in the process of applying for the rights to "Little Shop of Horrors" and noticed MTIU is offering two versions: 1: Little Shop of Horrors, and 2. Little Shop of Horrors (Broadway Version). Does anyone know the difference? Thanks! ------------------------------ Michael Limone ...

"Is He Dead?" is a fabulous, riotously funny vehicle for a strong male lead. I'm not sure it could be cut to one act...but it is worth looking at. ------------------------------ Michael Limone NY ------------------------------

Hey! My personal favorite is the Richard Wilbur translation. I find the jokes are sharp and concise. When I hear other translations, I miss the Wilbur. Michael Limone Sent from Mail for Windows

When I did this show, we didn't use water. I had a orchestra pit in front of my stage, and we built a "pool deck" around the pit, then dressed the sides of the pit walls to look like the sides of a pool- tiles and all. We put lights in the pit that shined a moving water effect up onto the walls ...

We just finished the Eva Legalliene and Florida Freibus version here at my high school. It is actually the second time that I have done it. Both times I was left feeling unsatisfied. Why did I do it twice? This time I did not direct- I just produced, and I cautioned my director about it... it just feels ...

I'm finding this to be a VERY tough topic.  I'm having the same issue, and the girls in my group are struggling with it.  I have one or two boys- and they are struggling too.  They have all kinds of ideas to entice boys to join that, in my heart, I know won't work.  My gut tells me this is a problem ...

Musically, some big differences...  We just did Godspell 2012 in March of 2020. All songs are reworked- much more rock and roll than the original- which has more of a folk treatment.  "Beautiful City" is not in the original- it does appear in the 2012 (and the movie). All cultural references in ...

Hey- has anyone done the stage version of "Sound of Music"?    Concord is saying it only has 4 male roles (and 2 make children).  I haven't gotten the perusal yet, but... could that be possible?  Can it really be done with 4 males?!   Someone please save me time and let me know how this works.  I remember ...

Hey Gang! We have decided to mount Clue for our fall show this year.  Can anyone give me a run down on the major differences between the original version vs. the High School version? Thanks! ------------------------------ Michael Limone Carle Place NY ------------------------------
