I am staging Sleeping Beauty and want to cover myself (legally) on all sides. I'm having the student's parents sign general waivers and am adding an extra one for the kiss at end, just to be safe. Alright - another small town theater teacher question! I'm directing Sleeping Beauty by Charles Way this Spring. My Sleeping Beauty and Prince do not feel comfortable having their first kisses be on stage (understandable). I'm not sure how to stage the final kiss without ruining the iconic Sleeping ...

I think as long as wigs/ maybe clothes look similar, you should be fine! Audiences tend to be pretty forgiving when it comes to "doubles". ------------------------------ Melanie Duke ------------------------------

I've worked with temporary hair dye but it didn't come out vibrant enough when the stage lights came on. Wigs are much more reliable, in my opinion. ------------------------------ Melanie Duke ------------------------------
