I am looking for the duet scene that was used in adjudicator training at the International Festival. It was about a couple arguing over the zombie apocalypse. Any ideas what that was called? ------------------------------ Suzanne Jones Teacher Pella Community High School IA ---------------------- ...

Good morning! If you are considering the same kind of black fence paint that I ended up with a couple of years ago from a local Farm and Fleet type store, do NOT buy it. It is a very strange product that is gummy, greasy and almost impossible to clean up. I bought it because it was so cheap, and ...

I have a student who does not want to say "God" in the song "Omigod You Guys" from Legally Blonde. This isn't that surprising in our very religious small town. What would you all do? ------------------------------ Suzanne Jones Teacher Pella Community High School IA ------------------------- ...

We did it for State Speech contest, but only a couple of songs. There is a great concert version with Jake Gyllenhaal and the original actress who played Audrey that you might want to watch. For our purposes it worked well. ------------------------------ Suzanne Jones Teacher Pella Community ...

We are doing a cutting from Nunsense for state contest. We were going to do the song A Difficult Transition, but there is a term in the song - Hottentot - that is offensive. Have any of you performed this show (either with students or with an adult group)? Any advice? Thank you! ------------------------------ ...

Good afternoon! We just did Almost, Maine and I am assuming that others out there might be interested in a few of our props. I am including... - seven "bags of love" (mauve) - one tiny matching bag (mauve) for the ring box and ring - Steve's two books - an iron with a retractable cord for Marvalyn ...

We have a wonderful giant peach that we are willing to sell. It is located in Pella, Iowa. Anyone doing the show this year who might be interested? Constructed by engineers to safely hold performers on top of the PEACH. Pictures available upon request!

We are doing James and the Giant Peach this fall. I have wonderful collaborators, but have never directed a musical before. Suggestions for this show? Suggestions in general? Thanks, all!

We just had our 7th annual improv show. It has been very successful! It is games based and follows an Improv Sports layout - two teams each night. We have an every night team and then an opposing team (three nights of shows around 1 hour each). Over the years we have stopped using points at all, although ...

If you just use the songs and no dialogue you should be fine. If that is not what you need, MTI (Music Theatre International) has an agreement with the Iowa High School Speech Association that allows cuttings with dialogue to be used for our State Speech Contests - I see that you are from Iowa. Group ...
