The ensemble nature of the piece was a blast, and the more you try to incorporate your own creativity vs. replicate ...

Together with the adult volunteers and students, we set a ...

I'm not a big understudy fan as I think it is hard to manage expectations. We have a working swing system in place to handle if someone is sick or injured for a performance. They also serve as the swing during any rehearsal that the cast actor cannot make. This system helps to keep rehearsals moving ...

I directed Grease last year and did the full version, not high school, with the additional purchase of the movie songs. While the process was different from my previous contract experiences, I knew this was coming. I was warned through SF and had the opportunity to meet Mr. Taft who controls Grease the ...

We just finished an extremely successful run of Cinderella: Broadway Version. The script incorporates more characters than the Enchanted Version, and it has been modernized to add depth to many of the characters. I especially liked the treatment of Cinderella and her step sisters. If you have any questions, ...

I award .5 points for a one act/1 point for a full-length live production. However, they are required to submit a brief google form with the information about the production as well as a few brief questions about their experience. This helps they be accountable and helps me keep track of it all. ...
