Members,
As many of you are aware, we recently converted our membership database system to better serve you. As with any conversion of this magnitude, there are bound to be issues, both expected and unexpected. We understand the frustrations the new system has caused some of you and we appreciate the feedback many of you have provided us, especially when you've encountered errors, so that we can address these issues with our developers in an effort to get the system closer to our desired finished state.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused in your already busy and challenging days as theatre educators.
Our priority was to get your Personal Snapshot pages live so that you could update your profile, add eligible students to your troupe's roster, induct eligible students, and allow for new troupes to be chartered. While those processes didn't all work as planned when we sent out the password reset email on Tuesday, we are confident those issues have now been resolved so that you can conduct these transactions.
In an effort to help you navigate the new system, here are a few tips:
- Community Hub : This is the new area of the website where you conduct transactional business related to your membership, troupe, and organizations. This used to be known as the "Troupe Business" page.
- Personal Snapshot: This is your personal dashboard to connect to Community Hub. Please bookmark the following link for quick access: https://myedta.schooltheatre.org. You can also access Community Hub and your Personal Snapshot by clicking the Sign In button at the top right corner of schooltheatre.org, logging in, and then clicking My Account next to your profile avatar at the top right corner of the page.
- Troupe Directors:
- To view the roster of active Thespians/JR Thespians for your troupe, click on the My Troupe/School/Org button from your Personal Snapshot page, then click the "...", and select Manage Roster. From there, you can access students' Thespian ID numbers (aka EdTA ID), add honor/academic ranks, and update student contact information.

- To induct Thespians/JR Thespians, click on the Thespian Society Induction button from your Personal Snapshot page, then follow the steps in the process. NOTE: This is a two-step process, first adding the students to your roster, then choosing eligible students to induct.
- To induct Honorary Thespians, please contact the Member Service Center by emailing MEMBERS@schooltheatre.org or calling (513)421-3900, ext. 1. This process is not yet live in Community Hub , but will be in January.

- Change of Troupe Director forms and Troupe Charter applications can also be accessed by clicking the respective buttons from the Personal Snapshot page.

- Honor items are temporarily unavailable for purchase. We expect these to be live in Community Hub in mid to late-January.
- The Data Center is currently offline/unavailable, but will be live in Community Hub in mid to late-January. Please email CHAPTERRELATIONS@schooltheatre.org for access to any of the reports or information in the interim.

- OpenWater (Thespy's and Scholarships) login issues have been resolved now. Please email us if you are still experiencing any issues.
We hope that this helps you navigate the new platform. We plan to have more FAQ, tutorials, and Membership Minute videos posted in the coming weeks to provide more in-depth information about how to navigate the new system.
