I am trying to open a Deaf/HH/Hearing Theatre in the Blacksburg Virginia area. I am in need of guidance on how to go from idea to fruition. I am a Graduate for ITS at the University of Tennessee.

My daughter attends the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York....they are an international deaf school and have a fully realized Deaf/HH/Hearing theatre program.  They might be willing to offer pointers/ advice or some guidance.

Maybe Deaf Austin Theatre can help. (DAT's Artistic Director, Brian Cheslik, reached out to MSF for resources as they work on an ASL translation of The Laramie Project, which is how I became aware of them.)

Have you been in touch with Deaf West theatre (deafwest.org)? They do amazing work, and may have some resources or ideas to offer.
And of course, there's the National Theatre of the Deaf (ntd.org) in West Hartford, Conn. (860) 236-4193
My final suggestion is the theatre department at Gallaudet University, which is all about education for the deaf/HH, and has had a strong theatre department for many years. https://www.gallaudet.edu/department-of-art-communication-and-theatre/theatre-arts/
