    Does anyone have a recommendation for a good creeping fog machine that isn't too expensive?

    I have actually rented a machine that melts dry ice and it causes the fog to blanket the ground and creep onto the stage.  The most expensive part was the dry ice to be honest.  The machine basically was boiling water, and you dropped dry ice into a basket and then lowered the basket into the boiling water.  Pretty cool.  The students thought it was awesome.
