    If any one is attending the USITT Stage Expo (www.usitt.org) this week (Wednesday, March 16 through Saturday, March 19, 2016), please feel free to contact me and chat while we are there.  I'll be presenting a session in the Health & Safety track on Saturday, March 19 at 12:00 Noon to 1: 30PM in room 255A that is all about Understanding Fire and Life Safety Systems.

    To piggy back on Erich's announcement, Nancy Curtis and I will be chairing a  session for high school teachers immediately after his session.

    This session offers high school educators a chance to meet and discuss current trends in theatre education at the secondary ed level.

    Hi all

    To continue in the shameless plug trend, I would LOVE to see you at the Tech Olympics on Friday evening in the North Grand Ballroom.  I am the chair of the national TO, and we welcome high school teams as well as college teams.  The events are fun and are based on skills that all techs should have.  Also, if any of you need any assistance with your state Tech Olympics, just let me know.  

    I am also joining some fellow knot masters for Knots Knots Knots!!! in room 606 on Thursday at 7:00.  Bring your students to learn the most important knots in theatre tech :-).
