Hello,

As I start to decompress from my school year, I am seriously looking ahead to our 2015-16 season. I have 4 seniors of varying ability that I would like to showcase. I am considering "Kiss Me Kate" and would love to know if anyone has researched the differences in the two available versions. Also, any other musical recommendations for all girls who can play anything but would prefer a strong book with solid female characters.

Hi there.  We just had a big success with the new musical CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, MTI, book by Terrence McNally.  It has three excellent male roles, two or three good female roles, and a very active chorus.  Great fun--and very popular with high school audiences as it is about a teenager seeking an identity (feloniously, of course).  Best of luck (break a leg).  Brent Cirves
