Digital Instructional Programs

  • 1.  Digital Instructional Programs

    Hello all.  We are modifying the format of our technical theatre instructional programs to include streaming for schools that have gone paperless.  Besides "Blackboard", are there programs that are particularly helpful to theatre teachers?   We're building the infrastructure now, and would like to make it as teacher friendly as possible.

    We use Moodle and Google Classroom, as they are both free.

    We use Jupiter and all Google Classroom and Google doc tools; I really think Google docs is a great gift; it offers so many opportunities for kids to work collaboratively.  We used to use Edline, which most of us found very cumbersome.

    We use Canvas and have been using Google Drive for years. In addition, our district has given us a few additional tools like OneNote, Kahoot and Nearpod.

    Great idea!  We work primarily through Google (classroom, drive, etc).  The district also uses moodle, but it's losing popularity.

    We use Schoology AND Google! Google can do just about everything, and Schoology is where you can set up classes, grade your students, and even send handouts to fill out through Notability! We are a complete One and One school. I can give you names of our Tech specialists if you need more information!

    We just moved to Canvas this year, and we also use Google.

    The nice thing about Canvas is that they support many different apps that plug-in to the courses that are set up.
