Hey drama teachers! Looking for strong and short comedic or dramatic scenes for small groups or partners. Any suggestions?

    Hi Savannah,

Not sure if these are what you would consider strong duet scenes - but I think they are funny:

    Check Please - Rand
    Hard Candy - Rand
    Almost, Maine - Cariani
    The Odd Couple - Simon
Midsummer Night's Dream - the fight scenes between the young lovers

For both comedic and dramatic try this collection: 50 Professional Scenes for Student Actors: https://www.amazon.com/Fifty-Professional-Scenes-Student-Actors/dp/1566080355/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3ESUT83UQ9RJN&keywords=50+professional+scenes+for+student+actors&qid=1650228219&sprefix=50+professional+scenes+for+student+actors%2Caps%2C50&sr=8-1

These are just a few suggestions off the top of my head.

    Hope that helps,

    Marla Blasko

Short scene from Mortgage Meltdown: The Musical   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54v8JiG42uU&t=16s
    Lehman Collapsed!
I can send you the script for a short scene like this one, or a scene with singing for a small group. This is a work in progress, but I own all the rights so permission is no problem.
